This book is recommended for those managers who are familiar and comfortable with the basics of team formation. While it is not necessary to have read the first book, it is recommended that the reader be at least familiar with the basics of team building. Harrington-Mackin's first text focused on the "how's" of developing a solid team foundation. This sequel addresses the intricacies and challenges that face the manager of a functioning team.

Harrington-Mackin's comfortable style and helpful suggestions make this a good addition to the project manager's reference library. The book can be picked up to address specific team issues and can readily supply concise answers to those issues. The beneficial information and its method of presentation make this a useful project management resource.
