Why is Stakeholder Analysis important?

Why is Stakeholder Analysis important?
Getting to know the stakeholders and familiarizing yourself with their needs will make your job a lot easier. Be sure to interact accordingly, because later on you'll need to call on them for consultation or information. Therefore, think long and hard about how the business problem is impacting the business stakeholders, and how they'll be affected by the solution. Think also about the team members who'll build and manage the solution. It's very important to remember that projects inevitably change, and that your Stakeholder Analysis will require regular updating. From the first day of the project to the last, continually review the stakeholders' needs and evaluate how well you're meeting them. And don't be afraid to change your approach if you realize how you could meet them more effectively.
