What the best way to get input from multiple stakeholders about a common topic at one time?

What the best way to get input from multiple stakeholders about a common topic at one time?
If you have more than two or three stakeholders who'll contribute their input on the requirements for an aspect of the solution, or if a particular topic requires multiple inputs and outputs that need to be fleshed out in greater detail, a requirements workshop may be the best answer.

A requirements workshop is a time-boxed session where the relevant stakeholders focus on a specific topic or objective and contribute, shape, and validate the requirements. Leading a workshop demands preparation, but a successful workshop is one of the most efficient ways to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders at a single place and time. It's also one of the best ways to clarify a particularly complex, poorly documented, or otherwise unclear aspect of the business problem or proposed solution.
